We can't think of a better name to start our Originals series, the one and only East End Dubs. 

East End Dubs is imbued with the same urban grit, late-night menace and subtle sense of mischief as the streets of East London where he takes his name from. It has been that way since 2012 when he first broke through with a dark and infectious tech sound that has been jacking up dance floors all over the world. His own productions are slick, texturally rich affairs that are perfectly sculpted to be a perfect mix of function and form: metallic and mechanical yet scuffed up with a real sense of sou. They are diamond-cut tools designed for maximum impact with minimal effort. 

The man behind tracks like Bossy, bRave and Acid Roll creates the first instalment of our brand new Original series. Here is what to expect:

OldSkool Breaks is a special collection of 20 unique breakbeat loops served as full beats plus stripped stems ( No Kick, Hats, Kick, Snare). Chop up and slice to create your own unique breaks, or just layer the No Kick versions over your drums to add a loose feel to your house, tech house, techno or minimal productions.

Glitchy sequences, tonal percussions, noisy experiments and raw, gritty grooves that are perfect for layering into your drums. 

This extremely powerful collection of percussive tools includes 70 loops and 40 one-shot samples crafted from modular synths. The kick, hats and clap loops used in the demo are also included as a bonus folder.

Each sound in this pack was expertly edited and individually processed with 100% analogue outboard gear for warmth, noise, grit and punch.

Some of the studio equipment used to process the samples features: Vintage Moog ten band parametric EQ, Space Echo re-201, Moog Matriarch’s filters and delay, Electron Analog Heat, Moog MF-102 Ring Modulator, Moog MF-108 Cluster Flux and Sherman Filterbank.

All loops are recorded at 125 bpm and are suitable for Minimal, Techno and Underground House.

The Dutch wunderkind has a long-standing love of early house music, but also raw production aesthetics and an understanding of jazz, disco and Chicago styles that feed into his own unique take on the genre.
