Aphex Twin has announced a new collaboration with Novation on the new AFX Station Synth. Designed in collaboration with electronic music legend Richard D James, AFX Station is a limited edition and likely to be a collectible.
The AFX Station is a new version of the classic Bass Station II synth that comes pre-installed with AFX Mode. The AFX modes combine digital control with analogue synthesis inside a classic modern mono synth.
AFX Station comes with 128 new synth patches and seven new overlay banks from artists and sound designers like Noyze Lab, Perplex On, Richard Devine, r beny and Lightbath. There is surely lots of new sound inspirations in this new synth.
You can now pre-order the AFX station on Novation website. It is available in limited numbers and costs £399.
