Erica Synths have recently announced SYNTRX, a brand new analogue synthesizer with a digital matrix. It is strongly inspired by the EMS Synthi AKS. The company believes that this new synthesizer will inspire users to explore space and travel to previously undiscovered audible realms.
Erica Synths has teamed up with Riga Technical University to develop the SYTNTRX. It has 256-patch memory, automatic patch switching in performance mode or via MIDI messages. It features three oscillators that work over 8 octaves, a noise generator, an analogue filter and a trapezoid. The SYNTRX comes in an aluminium enclosure with ash tree side panels.
According to Erica Synths, a limited number of SYNTRX will be available at the end of 2019 with a price tag of 2500€.
