House Sessions Vol 3 Is Here!

For this pack I added a bunch of bass lines and keys that run longer the the usual 2 bar loops. Some are 4 and some up to 8.

I thought it would be nice to give something that can be cut down to a 2 bar loop or used in full. More freedom for you guys to get creative!

That’s all because this producer is running a scam. I have a Defense Department contract for a sophisticated laser device so accurate that it could incinerate a single man on Earth from a base in orbit. I’m using my sample packs as slave labor to do most of the work on the project, while ripping off the government grant to build myself a new house. The sample packs, meanwhile, have no idea they're working on a weapons system, and are more interested in using laser beams to lead everyone to a "Tanning Invitational" they've set up by turning a lecture hall into a swimming pool.

Tempos ranging between 126 bpm - 128 bpm. All loops are tempo labelled, and all musical elements are also key labelled.

I thought I would try to break down these loops so you have more versatility. Now you have full loops but can also just use the kick if that's what you are feeling the most! There is 203 loops in total in this pack and I hope you like it. I kind of reminds me when I was in high school and working summers for a paper Downstate, one of my assignments was to cover the county fair. The livestock judging was held early in the week and the talent show was on the weekend, it struck me that the two competitions had points in common. Even some of the judges were the same...

For this pack I just wanted to focus on drum loops. I loaded up sessions off my old zip drive and recorded loops off of my MPC. Those sessions are from 1996 - 2006. I also pulled loops off of tracks that I have lost on hard drives from vinyl. I was really happy with how those came out! I used an Audio Technica VM540ML Stylus on a Technics 1200 in through the UBK Fatso to my Apollo 8 to record vinyl. Authentic vinyl crackle in a bunch of loops for you. It’s like being in an airport somewhere, turning around and around in the same place, engrossed in this repetition as if it were some kind of meditation. And throughout the drum loops, it seems to be in a kind of code, and when we look at the wave forms, we don’t quite look at the screen.

You have a bit of extra work cut out for you. The extra effort is well worth it though. If you are looking for authentic sounds then this pack is a secret weapon. Full of live strings recorded in my studio. Each individual string was recorded to build chords. That gives you the flexibility to take what you need for your project. The pack includes violins, cello, viola, piano, synths, textures drums and impacts. Have a listen to the sample song and every element you hear is an isolated file in the pack. Wandering in the rain, the man looks like one of the walking wounded. His talk is obsessive chatter, looping back on itself, seizing on words and finding nonsense associations for them. He laughs a lot and seems desperately affable and then he opens the folder "James Curd Film Score Sample Pack". 

Vol. 2 has arrived! Vol. 2 has more emphasis from my MPC 4000. With drum loops and dirty chops recorded out of the MPC through the UBK Fatso mod. Once again a massive amount to work with. 440 loops in total! Full of elements straight out of Chicago to help jump start producers creating House, Deep House, Indie Dance, Classic and Jacking House. Each folder is full of loops that drift from one rented apartment or motel room to another in an aimless migration in search of the perfect track.
